Probate and estate administration work carries significant risk for firms and solicitors. We have put our processes and procedures together to ensure that our services keep you compliant as per the SRA guidelines. We are able to assist you with mitigating your risk management, which means should a claim of negligence be made against you, you will have all the documentation and paperwork to confirm you have acted with diligence.

Because it is relatively new. Our founders first introduced the idea of specialist property support to the legal sector in 2013, and since this date solicitors, law firms, probate practitioners, genealogist’s and the public have come to depend on this new way of doing things. Our idea to make life less stressful and provide everything under one roof has saved time and money to people across the UK, something we are very proud of.

Yes. PLG is independently owned which means we are not part of any large chain or corporate organisation meaning we have to work with specific estate agents. Likewise, we do not run an ‘agent panel’ that sees estate agents paying us to receive instructions, we feel this is poor practice and never in the best interest of the estate that we are representing.

Instead, every estate agent we select is done so following extensive research and any previous experience we have of working with them. This results in the agents being selected that we feel are the best fit for the property we are managing.

However, if you would like us to instruct specific estate agents all you need to do is say and we will ensure that they make up part of the team.

At the moment, property sales and management is completely unregulated, the closest we have is The Property Ombudsman.

Given the strict SRA guidelines that are set out for the legal sector. This means there is a gap between the regulated world of private client law and the third-party service providers who do not have such enforced guidelines.

With PLG we have introduced ‘Unregulated Compliance’ which is an ideal we believe every service provider to the legal sector should be working to.

Each of the guidelines we have incorporated match the SRA guidelines, and where PLG work to these we are also pushing for law firms to recognise our ideal as a standard they should expect from all of their providers.

You are the very reason PLG was established in the first place.

We understand what it means to lose someone close, and the stress related to handling their affairs once they have gone.

Our services are all tailor made to help give you the support and guidance you need to ensure you have less to worry about. We want you to feel that you have a team in your corner that will answer questions, handle the difficult jobs, and act with kindness at all times.

Our fee for selling the property is paid by your solicitor upon completion of the sale. From our fee we will also pay the estate agent, so you have no extra invoices or bills to worry about.

We act on a no sale, no selling fee basis and there is no tie in period which means if you are unhappy with the service we are providing you can disinstruct us at any time and proceed to an alternative selling option straight away.

Our attention to detail and commitment to looking after you means we have faith in what we do, so offer this flexibility to give you peace of mind from the outset.
